Sinbad the Sailor (Kerwin Mathews) journeys to the monster-infested island of Colossa to restore the stature of Princess Parisa (Kathryn Grant), who has been shrunken down to doll size by the black magician, Sokurah (Torin Thatcher)! For his first solo feature, stop-motion animation wizard Ray Harryhausen created some terrific sequences, with a satyr-like cyclops, a sword-wielding skeleton, a 2-headed bird (the Roc), a multi-armed, dancing snake-woman and a fire-breathing dragon! Bernard Herrmann's enchanting score enhances this immensely entertaining fantasy!
